Progress and next steps

In progressQA is executing integration and recovery tests. Engineering is investigating issue ISS-01, concerning duplicate events after a simulated timeout.
Customer impactThe defect was detected in the test environment before the pilot; no production impact is claimed.
Next stepsEngineering proposes a fix, QA prepares a retest, and the PM presents the schedule impact to the sponsor and informs BookEasy through Customer Success.

Status meaning and recommendation

Amber means there is a threat to the schedule that requires action and a decision, but there is still a viable proposal to continue. The PM recommends approving a one-week extension, keeping scope and acceptance criteria unchanged, and completing the fix and retest before the pilot. Sponsor response is requested by March 2, 2026 (simulated) so the team can protect the forecast.

Resources and budget

The delay is currently expected to use existing part-time team capacity. Any additional capacity or budget impact is still under evaluation and will be escalated if the recovery estimate changes.

Execution snapshots

The portfolio uses three GitHub Projects boards at key points: week 2 planning complete, week 8 defect opened and pilot blocked, and week 13 handover complete. Each snapshot is linked to the separate repository and labeled as fictional project evidence.
